Act Arts have two locations which are based in Bexleyheath and Bromley and were established in 2007, the school has a history of success, with many girls and boys performing on stage and screen and also going on to fulltime stageschool.

Act Arts provide a high level of musical theatre training in Dance, LAMDA Drama and Singing classes for children aged 3-18years. Unlike other theatre schools available, Act pride themselves on limited class sizes to ensure one-on-one tuition and to develop pupils confidence and growth.

The ethos of the school is to discover children’s potential – increasing confidence, improving vocal quality with projection and articulation, building stamina, co-ordination and rhythm. Dance styles covered are Street, Cabaret, Jazz and Lyrical.

Every year, pupils perform in annual theatre shows, local events and festivals. Act students have performed at theatres such as ‘The Bob Hope Theatre’, ‘The OWG Centre’ and the ‘Orchard’ Dartford. Every student is included in these productions and all productions are professionally arranged with full costume, lighting and sound. Therefore classes throughout the term cover script reading, microphone technique, audience awareness etc in order for every student to feel confident and happy once show day arrives!
